On December 14, 2015, the thought began that Cru could use a Windows Phone version of GodTools to compliment the iOS and Android versions, specifically for a major event in July. I am happy to say that today I deployed the Windows Phone version of GodTools to the Windows Store. If all goes well it should be publicly available by this time tomorrow.

GodTools provides “Knowing God”, “4 Spiritual Laws”, and “Satisfied?” (coming next week) booklets in digital form. While that is nice, the best part is those 3 resources are translated into 59 languages (and counting). The app allows the user to switch languages while going through it (I could read it in English, but switch to Hungarian for the person following along). Once a language is downloaded, you can keep it offline (think airplane, or trip).

The app has been fun and challenging to write, so I am happy this phase is done. “Satisfied?” (or the Holy Spirit booklet) is about 25% done, so should appear soon. Next up is formatting the app for Windows tablets and desktops/PC, perhaps even Xbox.
