Mother's Day

Mom's, the Lake, and some sun!!

Thad and I returned yesterday from a weekend on Lake Buchanan (Northwest of Austin). We celebrated my Mom's birthday, as well as Mother's day with my mom, aunts and uncles, and my grandmother. It was a wonderful weekend full of fun in the sun!!

We "played" on the boat most of Saturday (the sunburn on our faces and legs are testimony to how long!!!), and enjoyed some wonderful food all weekend long.

Thad and my Uncle Larry played Bocce Ball, my Grandmother and I laughed over cream puff filling that squirted all over her, my Mom and Uncle Mack searched for Eagles with their handy binaculors, my Aunt Laverne cooked a batch of delicious baked potatoes (which I ate 2 of!!), and my Aunt Nancy is probably still looking for a whisk to make some scrambled eggs!!

After returning to Fort Worth, we then celebrated Mother's Day with Thad's mom over dinner. All in all, it was a wonderful weekend full of lots of fun and a little bit of relaxation!
