Memorial Day Weekend

This weekend marks the 1 Year Anniversary for the beginning of our ministry with Crusade.

Technically, the Tuesday after Memorial Day is when we were first contacted by Campus Crusade, but the weekend is a good reminder. Aside from this milestone for us, we are having a wonderful weekend!

This afternoon, Jana and I drove to Carrollton to visit Ryan and Tara Geiger. In addition to good conversation and fellowship with friends, we ate dinner at a memorable hang out, Pastazio's Pizza at Addison Circle! After touring the various cycling stores in Frisco and Richardson, we returned to the Geiger's house for some cake and Ice Cream. Yes, I gained 5 pounds this evening, 3 just from that desert!

At about 10:30 PM, the Monroe's arrived! What a treat! We talked about "old times", mainly RAGBRAI, until about 1 AM!!

Sometime, we may take some time to tell you all some of the stories and remembrances from that trip, but not today. I will gladly share with anyone that asks though!!!

We are looking forward to the rest of the weekend, which includes the wedding of a dear friend, a concert in the park with the Dallas Symphony and a return to Stonebriar Church!
