Memorial Weekend - Day 2

We set the bar pretty high with Friday, so how do we top it? That's pretty simple...

After the late night (early morning) that we had yesterday, we were a little slow getting up but it was well worth it to get up! The Geigers should run a Bed and Breakfast! We had breakfast burritos that certainly filled us up and got us going.

Saturday afternoon, Jana and I had a wedding to attend, so we prepared for that. The bride of the wedding is someone that I have known basically since I was born, so we were looking forward to that occasion! The wedding was at 2 PM at Perkins Chapel on the SMU campus.

The reception was in downtown Dallas. It was equally as enjoyable with good food, good times and wonderful celebration!

Jana and I had to leave a bit early because we were eating too much!!

We met the Geigers at Central Market to get bread, cheese and wine for the Symphony. Don't tell the symphony people about the wine!

The park was in the middle of Highland Park. Talk about picturesque... big open field, surrounded by trees, perfect temperature and a slight breeze. The music was a sampling of what they referred to as "Night Music". Needless to say, that was a wonderful and relaxing experience!

After the symphony, we drove back to the Geigers. This time, we were all a bit tired. After some TV and conversation, we got to bed early... 11:30!

Now, we are past the mid point... why do good times have to end?
