Has it really been that long?

Seriously!!! I cannot believe it has been over a month since I posted anything. What to post? How about we talk about the weather!

I am looking outside right now... it is August 19th... it is RAINING!!! The high today is supposed to be 85. Normally, that is the temperature at 5 AM!! This weather is crazy.

One confession... I nearly took the top off my Jeep Tuesday. I would be regretting that big time! Thank goodness I only left my windows down.

Now, on to more important things. I would like to give you some updates about how things are going, where we are and what we are doing. Things are going pretty slow right now for support and appointments. Fortunately, that does not mean a whole lot, other than that the Lord may be working a lot behind the scenes and we just need to wait on Him.

We are still making a lot of calls but Summers are a difficult time to reach people. Funny that... why would people want to leave Texas in the Summer! It is normally only a 100 degrees outside! Fortunately, this Summer has been very nice.

We have had a bunch of appointments though and they have all been very good times to talk with people about our ministry.

The one thing that we are still needing to work on is referrals. We need to expand our list of "family and friends."

We are still looking at the Fall training. While it seems unlikely that we will go from a worldly perspective, the Lord could still get us there, if he so intends. Maybe he has other plans though!
