5th Anniversary

We celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary this past weekend...

We can hardly believe it!! 5 years has flown by!!

Thad's parents treated us to a weekend at Etta's Place, a B&B in downtown Fort Worth. It was a great chance to get away and put our support raising aside.

Saturday evening, we enjoyed a delicious meal at St. Emillion. We ventured out of our food "comfort zones", and decided to try something new (especially since we were dining at a restaurant where everything is good)!! I had proscuitto, fig, and french cheeses for an appetizer; an endive, pear, and Stilton cheese salad; and Florida Pompano (a yummy white fish that I had never heard of before!) with vegetables for dinner. Thad had cream of asparagus soup with frog legs (CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!?!?) for an appetizer, Lobster Nicoise for his salad, and bacon wrapped rabbit for dinner (yes, I even tried it and liked it!!!). Last but not least, we both enjoyed individual molten chocolate cakes for dessert!!! Wow, just writing about our meal is causing my mouth to water.
