End of the Spear
You may have seen previews or heard of this movie coming out in theatres this week. It is a really well made movie that tells a story of grace and God's love quite well.
If you remember from a number of years ago, 5 men who were missionaries to a tribe in South America were dealt a terrible fate. The movie the End of the Spear tells their tale. End of the Spear is a great re-telling of a magnificent story of redemption and forgiveness. The gospel is presented in simple, tribal terms instead of American Christianese, so it might be more palatable to a non-Christian. If you have recently watched the documentary-style Beyond Gates of Splendor, you will notice some dramatic license. However, it does not detract from the story or its meaning.
