Missions Sunday at Christ Chapel

We wanted to take some time to remind you that this Sunday, February 26th, is Missions Sunday at Christ Chapel. In between the services, we will be standing by a table with our information (and newly designed brochure!!) to take some time to meet people. Please come by and say hello…tell a friend to come visit with us too!

A luncheon will be served at 12:15 in the Family room. Please come by to have more time visiting with missionaries and to as well hear some stories from several Christ Chapel missionary families!

From Christ Chapel’s Website:

“The message will be by Dr. Mark Young, a missionary, pastor and Dallas Theological Seminary Professor. He will be speaking on strategic prayer in regards to both missions and spiritual warfare.

You won’t want to miss meeting our missionaries who are in town! They will be in the Family Room in between services. Please stop by and thank them for their amazing dedication to reaching our world with the love of Christ.”

Missions Sunday was a blast!!! We met many amazing people, made some connections with other missionaries to Europe, visited with many friends, enjoyed a delightful and very crowded Missions Luncheon, and heard a wonderful sermon from Dr. Mark Young, a DTS professor, fellow missionary, and a pastor at Stonebriar Community church (our former church home!).

Also, the Lord blessed us with wonderful "table neighbors" who are seasoned missionaries! They gave us some much needed advice on language learning, setting our leave date, and working with others in ministry.

Thank you for the many prayers lifted up on our behalf. The Lord is moving and before we know it, we will be on the plane to Germany!!!
