Encouraged, Motivated, but also Tired!

Okay, so our internet connections throughout last week were a little bit spotty, so we decided to wait to give updates once we arrived home. Our flight arrived yesterday, but because we were so tired, we literally slept until 11 am this morning!!!

Tonight, I am going to read through all of my notes and try to put together several posts for this week...so keep checking our site (I need accountability to get the posts finished!!).

So that you have at least a piece of our travel experience from last week, I am going to give you the weather/environment breakdown because it's easy!!

4 days in Marina Del Ray...coastal weather, anything from chilly to rainy to sunny
3 days in Tehachapi...high desert, WINDY, chilly, and even woke up to 37 degrees one morning
1 day in Barstow...low desert, hot, dry, but also much more pleasant than we expected
1 day in Santa Monica, perfect sit out on your porch weather

As you can see, we had the full gammut of California terrain and weather. We only needed to add in a couple of other locales to have experienced it all!

OH!!! I have a hugh PRAISE!!! Usually, when I am faced with several days of social interaction without possible solitude, I tend to experience migraine headaches. I must praise God by telling all of you that I did not once, not even a single, slight, hint of a time, have a headache throughout the trip!!! What a gracious Lord we have!!
