Pursuing Creativity Through Reading

I have a few books that were recommended to me that discuss art and spirituality. I have not yet read any of them, but they are on my wish/reading list!!

Art and the Bible (L'Abri Pamphlets) by Fancis A. Schaeffer

The Creative Call : An Artist's Response to the Way of the Spirit by Janice Elsheimer

The Shoes of Van Gogh : A Spiritual and Artistic Journey to the Ordinary by Cliff Edwards

Imagine: A Vision for Christians in the Arts by Steve Turner

Jana - I have been praying for you and Thad and have enjoyed following your journey via your website. Regarding Art and the Bible by Dr. Schaeffer you will find to be such a blessing. I am not an artist however, we can learn much from his teachings. I would also recommend a wonderful DVD by Dr. Schaeffer called "How Should We Then Live." May God continue to bless you and guide you as you leave for Germany.

Lisa - Thank you for commenting! I look forward to reading Dr. Schaeffer's book and will have to look up the DVD you mentioned!
