Where is Thad, you ask?

Have you wondered recently if I am going to write again? Come on! Admit it! Well, there are some reasons why my words have been scarce on our site.

The main reason is that I have not had the "inspiration" recently. Perhaps that is because we have been pretty busy during the last hectic months. That sounds like a good reason, I should stick with it. We have been blessed with being busy recently, as we are seeing support come in... Praise the Lord!!

Recently, I bought our tickets to England. The dates on the tickets are July 30th to August 14th. EASC here we come! Please continue to pray with us that we do not need the return ticket.

Ok, so those reasons are enough to explain my absence on the site, right? We need 1 more reason? Ok, we need one more reason. You are not going to like it though!

World Cup 2006!!!! In Germany, no less! Am I sad to not be in Germany for this? Yes, a little. Though, I have to say, I like being able to understand the commentators. Well, I say that... Marcelo Balboa is driving me nuts.

This is a exciting time to see soccer (football for the rest of the world outside the US). I was sad to see the US exit so quickly, but when you do not play well and do not have the talent to back up poor play, well, you go home early. I hope to see the US make a much better showing in 2010. South Africa, here we come!

I will have a post soon on my World Cup thoughts. We have a few days off, since the Round of 16 is over. Sorry Ecuador (Becks is awesome on set pieces), Sweden (dare I say that Germany is awesome right now), Switzerland (cannot miss 3 shoot-out shots), Netherlands (yellow card anyone, how about red?), Australia, Ghana (will miss them greatly, your Group play was inspiring), Mexico and Spain.
