Day 3 of Conference #3 (Budapest)
The OLC is a 4 day conference and we have begun day 3. We spent time singing worship songs to the Lord and praying this morning. I would consider that today is a most blessed day! Each day has started in much the same way but our table spent some time really searching ourselves to answer some questions posed to us. I will not go into our discussion, but the questioned asked to us were under the heading "What is the greatest challenge to Biblical Leadership?"
What changes do I need to see take place in myself?
What changes do I need to see in my approach to leadership?
No so much questions, but things to consider were some hindrances to leadership are ownership of the need to change and willingness to embrace the pain of change.
As operations, we are working through leadership issues, namely how to build up good leaders. That is the primary focus in the morning. In the afternoon and on into the evening, we are working on the strategic planning process.
I know I have stated some of that in a previous post, but I thought I would add clarification as we go along and as I learn more about what it means to be here and what that means to my role in Western Europe.
