Travels

In my last post, I mentioned I have some travelling coming up. Alas, it is true... My first trip comes in mid-April. I will be in Bangkok, Thailand for 8 days for MinistryNet: Bangkok 2007 followed by Global Technology Leadership (GTL) meetings. Three days after I return, I will be heading to Spain for a leadership forum.

If you recall, my first MinistryNet was in Budapest in April 2005. It was my first and a first of its kind as staff from Campus Crusade came from around the world to talk about how we could reach people for Christ using the Internet. If you would like to see some of what we talked about, click here. That is my first post from MinistryNet. There are a few posts giving a day by day glimpse of the conference.

So, this year, we are heading to Bangkok to talk about what we have done since 2005, where we are now and where we are going. It is wonderful time of collaboration and willingness to step outside of our little worlds to do things we know nothing about and interact with others as they adapt to many cultures.

The second trip is to Mallorca, Spain for a European Leadership Forum. I will be there for 4 days. I am not as familiar with this one. I know leaders from all over Western Europe will be gathering to talk about where we are going as a ministry in Europe. I will keep a "running diary" of sorts while I am there!

The day after I return from Spain, we are receiving our second guests!! We are very excited to be able to show off our new home and welcome others to our ministry here.
