Fuzzy Internet

Okay, so we had difficulties getting internet at our hotel during this last conference. I'm sure Thad will love to elaborate on the irony of the situation, so I will leave that to him.

The conference was wonderful and basically focused on developing leadership skills, and also on buidling stronger teams and learning to work together. Agape Europe currently has what we call a "virtual" team...basically, that means that we are not all in one place...with leadership serving/living in over 14 different countries (I don't have a count on the number of cities!!). Since we serve on the Communications team, our jobs have grown with the need to provide creative and useful ways for our leadership and staff to interact with each other.

We had the opportunity to meet with several leaders withion Agape, and I'm really excited about the upcoming possibilities/projects!

On a project update, we passed out 1000 of the forty-four page booklet that I worked on, and it was really fun to see everyone's excitement. We are now in the works of editing for a second printing, and we are even trying to work out details for having it printed in other European languages.

If you would like to take a look at the brochure itself, there is a PDF version on the Agape Europe website. http://www.agapeeurope.org/

The brochure looks fantastic, Jana. Easy to see why they were thrilled with it. Now, where are the pictures??? ;-)

Thank you.

Okay, okay...pictures are coming! LOL...

Unfortunately, we weren't able to take a bunch of photos because the conference schedule had to be switched around quite a bit. One of the main speakers had a medical emergency while there, so we didn't get to do a ton of site seeing on our planned day. I did take some lovely photos of food, so I know you will enjoy that!

FYI...the only "scenic photos" I took are on Thad's laptop which is on a plane with him in Madrid right now.
