Still Pregnant
Jana and I just got home. She is still pregant.
Our doctor had prepared us (hence the email and a few calls) that the hospital doctor would induce labor after a checkup this weekend. When the doctor finished all the checkups, she said Jana and the baby are doing very well and urged us to wait a few more days. So, we continue to wait.
Thank you for your prayers! We hope to have more news soon.
Added by Jana: just to clarify, the doctor I see for the pregnancy is a different doctor than the one who will do the delivery. It was the delivery doctor who thinks we should wait because inducing could potentially take a couple of days. And, since the monitoring showed me to be having some regular contractions (in addition to the baby and me doing fine), she thinks inducing now would be too soon. They will consider inducing 10 days after the due date, which is Wednesday.
Bummer... we'll hold our breath awaiting the news... you guys continue to breathe :)
Poor you! I've been praying for you this last week thinking for SURE there was a baby in your arms! He'll come soon enough though! Thanks for the updates. Love, Ann
We are praying expectantly, knowing that God's timing is perfect!
Love you!

I know it's hard to wait-even a day more--when you are this close but induction is a hard road. I had to be induced with both kids (Ethan started labor on his own but I didn't progress and they gave me pitocin. Hannah had to be induced from the start). If you can do it without inducing, it's better. We will be praying!! Keep us posted!!
We are all praying for you here in Spain. God sure has a special birth date picked out for this child. Can't wait to find out what that date is. We love you both.
Anna (and G.Paul and Maria and Deb and Melissa and Merja and Pepe and Markku and Aulikki and the round table crowd)
Waiting (somewhat patiently) with you.
