Quick Recovery
Hey folks! I just wanted to say thank you for praying. Thad was able to recover our computer without any data loss...praise God! It was actually a fairly quick/easy fix this time (at least it was for me...Thad may say differently!).
We received an email this morning telling us that a driver will come by on either the 9th or 10th of November and that we should have an exact schedule/time soon...that is next week, can you believe it?!? Pray for us as we finish the last minute packing that we have. Thankfully everything is mostly finished, but we have some odds and ends left (those always end up being more of a hassle than we think!). Pray for us also as we try to coordinate the remaining process...insurance, actual shipment, customs procedure, etc. We have a possible contact of someone in Kandern (not on staff with CCC) who we are trying to get in touch with...their family recently made the move with the same company and is up to date on all of the Customs stuff.
Thanks again for your prayers!!

Tending Wounds
So, it finally arrived, the large brown truck that is. Thad and I were returning home from having a couple of lunch appointments, and before us drove the man in brown. Immediately, Thad's face lit up as he said "follow that truck!" Sure enough, we followed brown all the way to our house and the golden package was promptly placed in Thad's hands. So, where is Thad now, you ask? He is tending to the computer's wounds and praying the parts he ordered will fix the problem.
Hopefully, by this evening, we will be back and running with all the information that we need. Pray, pray, pray!

Sucker Punched
So, we keep getting sucker punched by technology. Even computer guys get stuck with massive computer problems! Our desktop computer died, once again, much to Thad's chagrin. It's the second time in a month, the first happend while he was still in Budapest. (You may have noticed that I did not post anything to the site or send out any "update" emails for Thad's return...that is why!) Unfortunately, though we thought the problem was solved, we are once again without our main computer...for a completely different problem though. Thad made the arduous (okay, I'm exaggerating) drive out to Fry's on Sunday, shockingly, they did not have a single part that we needed. So, we are currently waiting for the large brown truck to arrive (hopefully, no later than Thursday) with our online shipment. The trouble this time, is that we are without our latest contact information, email correspondence, support numbers, etc...so we kind of feel like we are flying blind.
So, why do I type all of this monotonous techno babble? Just to ask for prayer.

Short and sweet...
The moving company has slated our stuff to be picked up on November 10th, which is when their next truck comes through Fort Worth.
If we can reach 95% in monthly, Orlando may clear us to move and raise the remaining monthly support from Germany. That means we only need $595 in monthly support!!
Our October newsletter is in the final works and should be sent out within the next day or two. edited to add: link to our October newsletter
