Roger is here!!

Ok, so maybe Jana should be posting this, but she is spending time with her dad. So, I thought I would take on the task of letting everyone know... Roger is here!!! We picked him up this morning in Zurich. We just opened all of our goodies (CDs, books, headphones,etc.) and mail from the states. It's like Christmas!! Here are some pics of his arrival.

As we may have mentioned, we are taking language classes in Freiburg. Which is to say that we bought a Regional transportation pass to get us cheaply to and from Freiburg everyday. We realized immediately the added benefit of this card when we looked at where could go with it.

Today was our first such journey.

Sunday Outing

After our first week of language school, we have survived! I did not think I would judging by my energy level on Thursday. Mentally, I was not there. Everything seemed to be over my head in terms of understanding the German. That is always the way it works. You hang on for a bit, then you look up and see the big wave and think "I am in over my head. Where is the boat?" The Lord is smiling (perhaps laughing) at that! Friday was much better. I seemed to understand everything! What a wonderful feeling. I guess riding the wave is more fun.

So, after that tiring week, we are going on an outing today.
