Day 2 (Tuesday Afternoon)
I met with 2 separate people to help with computer issues. Technically speaking, I am 1 for 4. If you count advice to solve the problem and high potential for a solution being worked out, I am 4 for 4, but most do not count it that way.
I had dinner with Hans Pruis. That was the best time I have had at the conference, so far. We had a great talk, at least, I hope we had a great talk! We talked ministry, culture, and he was interested in how Jana and I are doing personally.
Total announcements that I am here: 3. I have several other appointments scheduled and expect several emails from people that are needing things once I get back.
Run tomorrow?

Day 2 (Tuesday)
Tuesday
I ran this morning! When I work up 6:30, of course the thought went through my head that sleeping is a much better option than going out to run. But, I brought my running clothes and would hate for that extra weight and space to go to waste! For the first time in an of my travels where I took workout clothes, I actually worked out.
When I went outside, there was a guy stretching. We talked for a moment and started to run together. He is in better shape than I am but was gracious to run at my pace. At the 2 mile mark, his halfway, we turned around and I told him to go ahead. I needed a breather! So, I walked for a few minutes watching him disappear down the hill. Then I ran back. It was a bit slower, but it just felt good to run.
Breakfast this morning was quiet and solitary. I had a quiet time, meditating on a recent sermon from Church. My big goal for this year is to have a consistent quiet time. Perhaps today was Day 1?
We do not really have internet at the hotel, so I am writing everything offline, to put it online when I go to the local internet café.

Update from Nerja, Spain
Monday
Thank you for your prayer for my travels. I arrived safely in Spain. It was a train ride to Zurich and a direct flight from Zurich, so it was about as easy as it could get. Upon arrival, after I got my luggage, I saw a member of our Athens, Greece team that I have corresponded with quite a bit. As it turns out, the entire Athens team was on my flight from Zurich! After an hour or so of waiting, we took a bus to the hotel and got checked. My day from that point was relaxing.
My plan for this trip (IT and work aside) is to run each morning. We will see how that turns out!
